What do we do with your data?

"Create an account" section.

The main purpose of this processing is to process orders and manage actions requested by the data subject. The legitimate basis for processing is the express consent granted by checking a box pursuant to Article 6.1.a) of the GDPR. The Data will be retained until the data subject deletes their personal account. They will then be duly blocked until the statute of limitations for legal action expires. After this period, the Data will be irreversibly deleted.

"Order" section.

The data will be processed for the purpose of managing your purchase: shipping, collection, and after-sales procedures.

The legitimate basis for processing is the execution of the contractual sales relationship in accordance with Article 6.1.b) of the GDPR. The data may be communicated to the manufacturers' technical departments when necessary to process a product warranty. This communication is legitimized by Article 6.1.c) of the GDPR. Processing is necessary to comply with the legal warranty obligation stipulated by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws.

To process your order, the delivery person may request identifying information (such as your ID number, first name, or last name) to identify you and prevent fraudulent deliveries. We inform you that your data will only be processed for this purpose. Under no circumstances will the delivery person be authorized to capture an image of your ID; they may not take photographs or videos by any means.

In the event that the collection is carried out by a person other than the one who processed the order, you are informed that the processing of the Data is strictly necessary for the prevention of fraud pursuant to Recital 47 of the GDPR, and the basis that legitimizes the processing is legitimate interest.

The Data will not be transferred internationally. The Data will be retained until the end of the product warranty. After that, it will be kept blocked until the statute of limitations for legal action (e.g., retention of invoices) expires. After this period, the Data will be irreversibly deleted.

Sending newsletters and personalized commercial communications.

We will use your identification and contact information to send you personalized information about website updates, news of interest, promotions, and offers on our products and services.

When there is a prior contractual relationship between NAT and the interested party, the legitimate basis for sending commercial prospecting will be Article 21.2 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce ("LSSI"), provided that it concerns information relating to products marketed by NAT of a similar nature to those previously purchased by the user.

Outside the case contemplated in the previous paragraph, NAT may only send commercial prospecting when the interested party has given their express consent in accordance with Art. 6.1.a) GDPR.

The interested party may easily unsubscribe via the link available in each communication (right to object).

“Draws” section

The data will be processed to manage the participation of interested parties in the draw, as well as to communicate the prizes to the winners.

The legitimate basis for processing is express consent pursuant to Article 6.1.a) of the GDPR. The data will be retained until the statute of limitations for legal action expires, after which it will be deleted.

“Work with us” section

The Data will be processed for the purpose of managing job applicant applications. The legitimate basis for processing is the data subject's express consent in accordance with Article 6.1.a) of the GDPR. The Data will be retained for one year from the date of receipt of the CV, after which it will be deleted. In any case, the Data will be deleted if the data subject revokes their consent within a shorter period than indicated.

"Contact us" section

The Data will be processed to process a request for information. The legitimate basis for processing is the data subject's express consent in accordance with Article 6.1.a) of the GDPR. The Data will be retained only for the period necessary to process the request. They will then be deleted.

“Ethical Channel” section

The data will be processed for the purpose of investigating the reports submitted by the informant, verifying the facts, and taking any necessary corrective measures. This processing is legitimized by Article 6.1.c) of the GDPR. The processing is necessary to comply with the obligations arising from Law 2/2023, of February 20, regulating the protection of persons who report regulatory violations and the fight against corruption.

In any case, after three months from receipt of the communication without any investigation being initiated, we will delete your data, except in cases where we retain it for the purpose of demonstrating the functioning of the system. Communications that have not been processed will be anonymized.

Data Recipients

The Data may be communicated to:

Banking institutions for payment of purchases by card and/or purchase financing and obtaining consumer credit. The legitimate basis for communication is the execution of the contractual relationship in accordance with Article 6.1.b).

Entities that provide fraud investigation, detection, and prevention services, as well as fraud risk minimization, based on the legitimate interest recognized by current regulations. The legitimate basis for the transfer is compliance with a legal obligation pursuant to Article 6.1.c) of the GDPR.

Entities and companies in the energy sector. The legitimate basis for the transfer is compliance with a legal obligation pursuant to Article 6.1.c) of the GDPR.

To the Consumer Protection Agency in the event of a claim. The legitimate basis for the transfer is compliance with a legal obligation pursuant to Article 6.1.c) of the GDPR.

To manufacturers, technical services, and/or wholesalers in the case of warranties or repairs. To any shipping companies that may be responsible for shipping the corresponding orders to customers. These recipients may be located within or outside of Spain, depending on the product and/or service purchased. The legitimate basis for the transfer is compliance with a legal obligation pursuant to Article 6.1.c) of the GDPR.

To transport and parcel delivery companies. The legitimate basis for communication is the execution of the contractual relationship in accordance with Article 6.1.b) GDPR.

In the cases established by law, such as the case of law enforcement agencies. The legitimate basis for the transfer is compliance with a legal obligation pursuant to Article 6.1.c) of the GDPR.

To public authorities to whom we must provide information in response to a request. The legitimate basis for the transfer is compliance with a legal obligation pursuant to Article 6.1.c) of the GDPR.

International Data Transfers

In some cases, we may transfer your Personal Data to service providers located in countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who provide services to us to support our business, acting as data processors. In particular, we may transfer your Data to Mailchimp, a US company owned by The Rocket Science Group, LLC, an email marketing service provider.

This provider is included in the " Data Privacy Framework " list, so transfers to it are covered by the Commission's Adequacy Decision of July 10, 2023.

If there are any doubts about the authenticity of the data provided, NAT may request the information strictly necessary to ensure that the sales process is completed with the maximum guarantees for both parties.
