Among our large catalog of keyboards, there are two models that you like the most and that, surely many of you have already tried, but do you know what their main features are and how they differ?
Mechanical keyboards
Serike and Suiko are mechanical keyboards, whose main difference from membrane keyboards is that they have individual mechanisms for each key. This is achieved by soldering each mechanism to an electronic board, which allows each key to be operated like a switch
Being individual mechanisms, a mechanical keyboard has certain advantages such as greater durability, very comfortable typing feel and a very interesting feature: N-key rollover, which allows you to press and type several keys at the same time
Differences between switches
The main difference between Suiko and Serike is the switches they have. While Serike has Outemu switches, Suiko is made of Kailh. In principle, it is said that Outemu switches are more suitable for typing, due to their durability and resistance, while Kailh switches are the most valued by players. Actually, both models show a great resistance, and a durability of up to 50 million keystrokes, so we are sorry we can't make it easier for you to choose between one or the other, both are great
What we can help you with is to give you more information about switch colors and their characteristics, regardless of whether they are Outemu or Kailh
Both keyboards are available with red, blue and brown switches of their corresponding type, and the choice is basically a matter of preference in terms of sonority. Depending on which one we choose, the pushbutton travel will vary, modifying the sound when typing, with the red switches being the most audible
- Switch networkThe preferred choice of many video game players, for being faster and more responsive, yet giving a smooth feel when typing. Perfect for double tapping and for those looking for a high response to pressure
- Switch blueThis switch would be at an intermediate level of sound, and is usually the most suitable for tasks that require fast and continuous keystrokes, such as writing, although its precision when typing also makes it very interesting for gaming.
- Switch brownThe switch is versatile and perfect for gaming and any other task, as it is the quietest switch but also allows for very fast keystrokes
Measurements and performance
In addition to having different switches, Suiko and Serike also differ in their sizes. Suiko is a compact keyboard, which translates into smaller sizes, while Serike is larger. Despite this size difference, they share key features, such as software configuration and illumination and the option to create macros. Both Serike and Suiko are available in their original and Ivory versions, in fact Suiko Ivory was the first white keyboard with Spanish layout in our country
Whichever one you choose, it will be a perfect companion for your set-up, games and day-to-day life. Remember that you can check all the specifications on their product pages to learn more
